MARION — “Be My Baby” will be at the Marion Art Center from May 31 to June 2 and June 6 through 9.

Follow the tale of a grumpy Scotsman and an uptight Englishwoman as they travel 6,000 miles to California to pick up a newborn adopted by their young wards.

Directed by Pippa Asker and written by Ken Ludwig, the production is presented in part by Santoro’s Pizza & More, Barden’s Boatyard, Inc, and Fieldstone Farm Market.

The cast includes Jackson Gillman, Suzie Kokkins, Nick Morrill, Camerin Bennett, Annemarie Fredericks, Susan Sullivan, John Heavey and Jack Boesen.

Tickets are $18 for MAC members, $20 for non-members and are available in person, by phone, or online beginning May 10 for MAC members and May 17 for non-members. A limited number of cabaret tables (seating for 4) are available. Attendees may bring their own refreshments. Reservations are strongly recommended.
