‘Rabbit Hole’ at the MAC postponed, new dates set

Aug 20, 2022

MARION – The Marion Art Center Theater’s opening weekend for its production of “Rabbit Hole” has been postponed to Aug. 26.

The production will now run August 26, 27 and 28, and Sept. 9, 10 and 11. There will be no play on Labor Day weekend, but performances will resume for the second weekend on Sept. 9. All Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees will begin at 2:00 p.m.

“Rabbit Hole” is written by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by Kate Fishman. The cast includes Melissa Bessey, Suze Kokkins, Kristen Russell, Jacob Sherburne, and Jack Staier, featuring Gordon Sherburne, with Gary Sousa as assistant director, Abby Winters Wheeler as stage manager, and Steven McManus as sound and lighting technician.

In the play, Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.
