The Mattapoisett Free Public Library Artist Series will present an exhibition by painter, artist and printmaker Gary Roberts Hoyt Nov. 16 through Dec. 14 at the library, 7 Barstow St.

Hoyt lives in Mattapoisett and is a graduate of Swain School of Design. He works in a number of mediums, including oil, acrylic, printmaking, wood block printing, and drypoint. 

He was the art director, designer, and founder of IDEAgraphics Inc. Design Advertising Studio. Hoyt has exhibited in juried shows in Duxbury and Westport. 

The exhibit is free to view and the display is handicapped accessible.
