Democrats welcome to attend Marion Democratic Town Committee Meeting

MARION — All Marion Democrats are invited to attend the Marion Democratic Town Committee meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18. 

This last meeting before a summer break will be held at the home of the chair, Sharon Matzek, located at 10 Cove Street.

The committee will discuss the presentation of awards to Old Rochester Regional High School students who won prizes for their essays on democracy. 

The group will also talk about backing progressive campaigns nationally and whom the group plans to support. 

Upcoming Marion Democratic Committee events are the July 4 parade and a Damien’s Food Pantry drive where light refreshments will be served.
