Family storytime, an author visit and holiday schedule for Plumb Library
ROCHESTER — Plumb Library is hosting several special events throughout November, geared toward library lovers of all ages.

November holiday schedule. The library will be closed all day on the following holidays: Tuesday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day and Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28 for Thanksgiving.
On Wednesday, Nov. 26, the library will close early at noon for carpet cleaning.
Friday Family Storytime. Grad student Morgan Browning will host a story and craft activity on Friday, Nov. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
“Red Nose Reader” with Rickrack the Clown will teach kids about kindness through literacy on Friday, Nov. 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
These sessions are geared toward kids ages four to eight years old. Families are required to register online as space is limited.
A travel author presentation. Travel author Matt Davis is presenting his talk “Do Not Take Selfies with the Fluffy Cows! Visiting America’s National Parks” from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Davis will answer questions after the program and will have books available for sale and signing.
This presentation is for participants aged 18 and older, and registration is required as space is limited.
The talk will take place in the Downstairs Program Room, which is accessible via a lift.
Upcoming meetings. The Board of Library Trustees will meet on Monday, Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. and the Friends of the Library will meet on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6:00 p.m.
