The Great Community Picnic returns to Mattapoisett

MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Land Trust and Mattapoisett Museum are hosting its Great Community Picnic on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The picnic will take place at Munro Preserve adjacent to the Mattapoisett Town Wharf.  

There will be live music by Seth Asser and Gary Brown. There will be fresh local oysters and a table decorating contest. 

The Land Trust and Museum will provide tables, chairs and tablecloths. Residents are encouraged to bring their own food, utensils and plates. Creatively transform your table with flowers, napkins, etc.  

Tables available for four people at $160, six people at $240, eight people for $320 or 10 people for $400. 

A place at the community table costs $40. Buy a ticket for the community table or buy a table. 

Space is limited so it is recommended to buy a table while they are available.

Ticket sales will end on Monday, July 27 or when we sell out, whichever comes first.
