Great Community Picnic tickets available

MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Land Trust and Mattapoisett Museum will host the Great Community Picnic on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Munro Preserve, adjacent to the town wharf.

The event will include live music by Seth Asser and Gary Brown and fresh local oysters. Organizers will provide tables, chairs and tablecloths. Attendees are asked to bring their own food, utensils and plates.

Tables are available for four people for $160, six people for $240, eight people for $320, or 10 people for $400. Individual seats at a community table cost $40. Space is limited.

The event is sponsored by Eastern Bank. Tickets are available at mattapoisettmuseum.org/event-info/the-2026-great-community-picnic. Ticket sales will end Monday, July 27, or when the event sells out, whichever comes first.
