Join ‘The Great Community Picnic’

MATTAPOISETT — A summer sunset, live music and fresh oysters are just a few things an attendee can look forward to at the Great Community Picnic on Thursday, August 7 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m at Munro Preserve in Mattapoisett.

The event is hosted by the Mattapoisett Land Trust and the Mattapoisett Museum who will provide tables, chairs and tablecloths. Participants must bring their own food, utensils and plates and are encouraged to “creatively transform” their tables using flower arrangements and napkins.

Live music will be provided by Gary Brown and Bill Santos.

Tables are available for four attendees, six attendees, eight attendees or 10 attendees, respectively priced at $160 for four, $240 for six, $320 for eight and $400 for 10. Community table tickets are priced at $40 per individual.
