MATTAPOISETT — Mattapoisett’s Special Town Election to fill the Select Board seat left open by the death of John DeCosta in April is on July 27. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m at Old Hammondtown School.
Two candidates, Kenneth Wilbur and Tyler Macallister are in the running for the Select Board position. The winner of the election will serve the remainder of DeCosta’s term, through the 2023 Town Election.
