On Wednesday, July 31 the library will celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday at 2 p.m. There will be a “Horcrux Hunt,” table-top quidditch game, sorting-hat themed cupcakes, and an opportunity to make magic wands and “snitches.” Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory. All ages are welcome, and registration is not required.

For those who participated in the summer reading program, a  celebratory concert performed by Roger Tinknell will be held on Friday, August 2 at 10:30 a.m. After the concert ice cream and popsicles will be served as refreshments.
