MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Woman’s Club will begin “The Great Decisions Program” on Wed. Jan 15 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The group will meet at the Accessible Community Room of the Mattapoisett Library for eight consecutive weeks  to discuss a wide variety of civics, and foreign policy-related topics including climate change, human trafficking, and artificial intelligence.

To register for the program, send a check to Mattapoisett Woman’s Club P.O. 1444 Mattapoisett Massachusetts 02739, and include a printed name, address, phone number and email.

There is a maximum capacity of 25 participants for the program, and the deadline to register is Dec. 31.

The price for an individual is $37, for two people sharing one text it is $45. The fee includes a book, classroom DVD, teachers’ electronic edition, and expenses for materials  and refreshments.

The books will be available and distributed after the first week of January  at the library by Ellen P. Flynn or Barb Richard Van Inwegen.
