MATTAPOISETT — The Woman’s Club will host their November Luncheon on Nov. 21, not Nov. 14 as previously stated, at 11 a.m. at Mattapoisett Congregational Church’s Reynard Hall. 

 

The luncheon’s speaker will be Mary Smoyer, a member of Lighting the Way: Historic Women of the Southcoast who has been on the Steering Committee of Lighting the Way from its beginning. She will share stories of women and their callings that required grit, tenacity, and commitment to their families, careers, and communities.

 

Members of the club begin gathering at 11, and at 11:30 a.m. the meeting begins. The luncheon is provided by members and usually starts at 11:45 a.m. The club’s program and speaker begin around 12:15 p.m.
