Rochester Land Trust to host edible decorating event, Trail Tale

ROCHESTER — Come hike the Rochester Land Trust’s latest Trail Tale, "Time to Sleep," at Church's Wildlife Conservation Area presented by the land trust and Plumb Library.

Then on Saturday, Dec. 18 from 1-3 pm, the land trust is inviting the public to participate in a free holiday event also at Church's Wildlife Conservation Area.

Participants will be creating edible crafts for the wildlife and decorating the trees with them. This will include strings of cranberries along with other edible hanging decorations.

Cookies, hot cider, and cocoa will be served.

This event is rain or shine.

Church Wildlife Conservation Area is on Marion Road/105 (191 Marion Road on Google maps), between Walnut Plain Road and Hathaway Pond Circle.
