Spring nature drawing and journaling with the Marion Natural History Museum

MARION — Join the Marion Natural History Museum outside along with natural science illustrator and wetland scientist Tricia Cassady of The Art & Nature Studio to explore nature drawing and journaling in the springtime.

The class will take place Saturday, April 4 from 10 to 12 p.m. 

Try out some of the techniques and materials we have been learning and apply them to a nature sketchbook or journal. 

Attendees are asked to bring any materials they are interested in working with including pen, ink, watercolors, colored pencils, graphite pencils or more. 

The class will be learning how to observe, identify some of the species we see as well as how to create an appealing sketchbook page layout. No experience is necessary for this class.
