MATTAPOISETT — For 135 years, St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Mattapoisett has held summer-only services for parishioners.

Each Sunday through Labor Day, visiting clergy from Massachusetts and beyond conduct services, using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, at 8 and 10 a.m.

On Sunday, July 7, services will be officiated by the Reverend Nathan Humphrey, the Rector at St. John the Evangelist in Newport Rhode Island.

All are welcome at the historic church next to the Town Beach in Mattapoisett.
