Submissions open for ‘I Voted’ sticker design competition

MARION — Kids in Marion have the chance to turn their art into a sticker through the town’s “I Voted” sticker design contest. 

Young artists aged 5-18 can submit a patriotic- or Marion-themed design — or one that creatively combines both themes. One winner will be selected from each age group. The groups are 5- to 9-year-olds, 10- to 14-year-olds and 12- to 18-year-olds. 

All three winning designs will be printed on stickers and available to voters in September. 

To pick up a template, visit the town clerk’s office during normal business hours. The submission deadline in July 31, and winners will be chosen on Aug. 3.
