Tri-town students graduate from Bishop Stang
Mattapoisett’s Leonard Murphy and Rochester’s Hannah Sullivan graduated among the top 10 in their class at Bishop Stang High School this year. The school’s 52nd commencement was held Sunday.
Murphy ranked sixth for the Class of 2014 and will be attending Harvard University in the fall. He was active in National Honor Society, Student Council, music, community service and captain of three sports. He was part of the school newspaper, improv group, math team, peer mentors, student ambassador, campus ministry and more.
Sullivan ranked ninth for the Class of 2014. She will be attending the University of Delaware in the fall to study chemical engineering. She was treasurer of the National Honor Society, Student Council member, played soccer and track, and was active in community service.
