The Mattapoisett Historical Society’s museum will open for the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. A toy train exhibit will be on display and the gift shop will be open with unique Mattapoisett items including note cards featuring Mattapoisett snow scenes and many others. The museum will continue to be open on Saturday mornings before Christmas.

On Thursday, Dec. 14 there will be a drop-in craft for children where they can craft their own rope wreath ornament. On Thursday, Dec. 21, classic Christmas cartoons from the 1930s, 40s and 50s will be shown, accompanies by some hot chocolate.
