Rochester Memorial School will hold a parent information night for new kindergarten families on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

A question and answer period begins at 5:45 p.m. in the RMS cafetorium, and continuing from 6-7 p.m. there will be an introduction to kindergarten classrooms.

Enrollment packets will be available for parents to take and complete at home.

Kindergarten registration will take place Feb. 7-9 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and from 1-2:30 p.m. each day. Last names from A-F will register on Feb. 7, G-M on Feb. 8 and N-Z on Feb. 9.

Anyone who cannot register on the scheduled day can make other arrangements with the school.

To register, parents must bring the child's birth certificate, a valid driver's license, two verifications of home address, a record of immunization and a physician's certificate showing the date and results of a lead screening. Each student must have a physical examination dated during the current year prior to the beginning of classes.
