The Rochester Historical Society is holding its second annual photo contest for Rochester children. The theme for this year's contest is “Businesses and Occupations in Rochester – Past and Present."

Photos should be 5"x7" or larger, and should be matted, not framed. Photographs can be in color or black and white. Only one entry per perosn will be accepted.

Entrants are asked to put their name, age, address and phone number on the back of the photo.

All entries must be received by August 1. They will be on display at the Historical Society booth at the Country Fair, (held this year from August 16-19) and attendees at the fair will vote on the favorites.

The top three favorites will be awarded monetary prizes. Voting will end at noon on Sunday, August 19.
