Wareham Community Television (WCTV) will open its studio to all Wareham non-profit groups for its fourth annual Free Public Service Announcement production day. Non-profits are invited to script a 30 second to one minute video about their organization or an upcoming special event. After a short class on how to put together a successful PSA, the organization will script their segment and WCTV will provide the technical support to record and edit.

The PSA workshop will be offered on October 7^th at 7pm, and October 12^th at 11am.

Free PSA production day is a valuable opportunity for non-profits to take advantage of the station’s resources and airtime to raise awareness of their cause at no cost to them. The public service announcements will air on WCTV’s Public Access Channel (Comcast 9, Verizon 30). These PSAs will also be uploaded to YouTube for each organization to utilize in their outreach efforts.

WCTV’s PSA workshops have led to many hours of free non-profit exposure. The station looks forward to increasing that number this year.
