Feeling creative? We want you! Visitors and the community alike will be able to participate and view all entries of over 80 hand-made scarecrows, from 6 different categories, beginning Columbus Day Weekend through Halloween, October 14th - October 31st. This contest is open to all, with prizes awarded. You do not need to be a resident of Wareham. Let your scarecrow represent your business, your cause or your family. Choose from 6 categories;Traditional, Whimsical, Wareham Business, Children's Clubs and Organizations, Family and All Our Neighbors. There is no entry fee, but there is an application. You may pick one up at The OBA office at 4 Union Avenue in Onset or at Music of the Bay in Wareham. Entries should be submitted by October 6th.
