The Onset Bay Association and the newly re-formed Junior Onset Bay Association are supporting Turning Point for their annual Christmas gift giving program for 600 local children in need. We are now collecting a wish list of items to fill gift bags to be distributed in time for the holidays. Some of the items the JOBA kids and OBA members are seeking include: socks, pj's, hooded sweatshirts, personal hygiene items, gloves, hats, scarves, headphones and gift cards from local restaurants and stores.The OBA office, located at 4 Union Ave in Onset, is now accepting these donations. Regular office hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. If your business is interested in hosting a collection box, please let us know. If you would like to get your middle school aged child involved in JOBA, please contact the Onset Bay Association at 508-725-2657 or email onsetvillage@yahoo.com.
