Mark your calendars for the Friends’ Used Book Sale in May. You might want to stock up for the beautiful summer months to come! And we have the books for you. No matter what your interests or your age, we have gently used books on all subjects, fiction or non-fiction and for all ages. No one can beat our prices. Where else can you buy a book for 25 cents? One dollar? Bring your own shopping bag or buy one of the Friends’ cloth bag and fill ‘em up!

SALE DATES: May 19, May 20, and May 21. Thursday sales are from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday sales are from 9:30 am to 3 pm, and Saturday sales are from 9:30 am to 1 pm.

All proceeds support the work of the Friends. The Friends help to purchase books and materials, supplies and equipment. We also sponsor many of the programs including the musical performances, special author presentations, children’s programs and more!

*NOTE: No book sale funds are used to support the Imagination Library program which is funded through a separate fundraising campaign. However, all Wareham resident children between the ages of birth to 4.5 years old are eligible to register for one free book a month mailed to the child’s home. You can register your child at any of our Book Sales, or any time during Library hours, or pick up a registration from at the Onset Bay Association office.
