Enjoy beautiful music in beautiful outdoor settings this August as NBSO musicians perform in collaboration with New Bedford Parks, Recreation, and Beaches.

Throughout August, the NBSO will present Music in the Parks in New Bedford with musical performances in Ashlee, Brooklawn, Buttonwood, and Riverside Parks. The schedule through August 13 is as follows:

• Friday, August 7, 10:15am-11:00am at Riverside Park, Fariba Hunold & Shawn Wang (violins)
• Monday, August 10, 10:15am-11:00am at Ashlee Park, Lauren Nelson & Ryan Shannon (viola & violin)
• Tuesday, August 11, 11:00am-12:00pm at Brooklawn Park, Emmy Holmes-Hicks & Peter Zay (violin & cello or guitar) 
• Wednesday, August 12, 10:15am-11:00am at Riverside Park, Emmy Holmes-Hicks & Peter Zay (violin & cello or guitar)
• Thursday, August 13, 11:00am-12:00pm at Buttonwood Park, Raluca Dumitrache & Ona Jonaityte (violin & flute)will be update
