Teach Your Child How To Deposit and Donate!

Feb 23, 2024

Beginning in January of this year, First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union offers a new feature to opening a Youth Savings account. Upon account opening, your child will have the opportunity to select one of four local non-profit organizations, and FCFCU will personally donate $10 on your behalf!

The four organizations that we support are:

Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless: A Bed for Every Child
Provides children in need in Massachusetts with safe and comfortable beds built by volunteers, along with bedding and a stuffed animal. They believe that every child deserves a place to rest and dream big. Learn more here.

Friends of Jack Foundation
Provides children with superhero capes, masks, and bears to help them feel less alone while undergoing necessary medical treatment. They also pay for the salary and all associated costs of child life specialists at local hospitals throughout the South Coast and Providence, RI. Learn more here.

Boy's and Girl's Clubs of Metro South-Taunton Clubhouse
A youth development organization that ensures every child has a positive place to spend their out-of-school-time hours. They believe every child deserves an equal chance to pursue the American Dream, to have a genuine opportunity to realize their full potential to achieve a great future. Learn more here.

Cape Kid Meals
To raise awareness of Cape Cod families facing hunger, and to provide food for the school-aged children of these families on weekends when access to school breakfast/lunch programs are not available. Learn more here.

Additionally, there are our standard benefits upon opening a Youth Savings accounts:
