In October we present a dance double feature, two solo performances inspired by exhibitions on view at the Museum.
Nice to See You, a solo dance by Jessica Roseman
How can we regard each other with empathy? Hopefully with approachable candor. In concert with the exhibit LOOKING AT BLACK PORTRAITURE, choreographer Jessica Roseman will dance a live self portrait during which she and viewers will meet, right where they are.
Goodnight, Goodnight, a solo performance by Laila J. Franklin
In response to Under The Sheltering Sky and Through Darkness to Light, Laila will cycle through vignettes of rest and refusal in concert with both nature and manmade spaces.
