The MAC New Plays Program will open with a staged reading of Cedar Beachby Mark Howland. 

A veteran Tabor English teacher and drama director, Mark Howland has written seven plays, all of which have been staged at Tabor.  Comprised of eight scenes and set in the family beach house, “Cedar Beach” spans fifty years and three generations of one family.  The central tension of “Cedar Beach” stems from the joint ownership of the cottage, complicated by the competing forces of change that unfold within different family members.

A feedback session between the audience and playwright will follow the reading.
