Time to get that metabolism working in time for the Thanksgiving feast!

The Marion Recreation Department is hosting its first 5K Turkey Trot Sunday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. Join more than 300 others already registered for the 5K, which helps raise funds for Marion Recreation Department programs.

The course starts at the Baxter House at Tabor Academy and follows a loop around Marion.

Raffle prizes and "best-dressed turkey" awards will be given in addition to awards for the top three guys and gals in each age group division.
