A 4-year-old taken from Plymouth was found safe by Massachusetts State Police on I-195 in Marion on Thursday evening.
Plymouth Police were notified of a domestic disturbance around 4:45 p.m. in which the father, Arthur Moniz, 36, was alleged to have taken his son, said Plymouth Police Capt. John Rogers.
“Based on info we received, we thought that child could be in danger,” said Rogers.
State Police apprehended Moniz and his son on the highway, and took Moniz into custody. The child was unharmed.
“Everyone is safe and sound,” said the captain.
