Accident on 195 sends woman to hospital

A car crash on Sunday morning sent one woman to the hospital with major injuries.
Mattapoisett Fire and EMS responded to the incident on 195 East, just over the Marion line. Firefighters found the driver trapped in the car and used the jaws of life to extract her. She was then transported to a hospital by helicopter.
The woman's condition is unknown.
