Alleged cell phone use results in Labor Day crash

Over the holiday weekend, Rochester police responded to a crash on High Street where officers found a Chrysler minivan that had collided with five cement pillars.
The crash damaged the vehicle, but no occupants were injured. According to police, a passenger in the car told officers that operator, 37-year-old Michael Williams, Mohegan Lake, N.Y., was using a cell phone at the time of crash.
Police issued Williams a citation for impeded operation of a motor vehicle.
