Tails are wagging at the Fairhaven Animal Shelter following a generous donation of pet food and treats from Sunnynook Farm in Rochester.

The business recently donated 20 bags of food for the shelter’s 27 cats and five dogs to chow on.

Kelly Massey, Fairhaven’s animal control officer, said the donation was unexpected and welcome.

“I didn’t even know they were going to do this,” Massey said. “It was awesome and we are very grateful. This is a huge donation that will help us and the dogs and cats in the shelter.”
