MARION — Marion residents will open their homes to guests during the Sippican Woman’s Club’s annual Holiday House Tour on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to the Sippican Woman’s Club, “until tour day, the list of homes on the tour is kept secret from all but a few.” The tour will begin at Handy’s Tavern, 152 Front Street, and will proceed to several Marion homes that were selected for their historical or architectural interest. The tour will end at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall where a tea will be served from 2 to 4 p.m. This year, the Beverly Yacht Club will be open to ticket holders from 4 to 6 p.m.

The annual Holiday House Tour is the principal fund-raising activity of the Sippican Woman’s Club. Proceeds from the House Tour go toward scholarships to Marion students pursuing bachelor’s degrees as well as other organizations serving the Marion community.

Tickets can be purchased online at sippicanwomansclub.org, in person at the Marion General Store, Mimi’s of Marion and Isabelle’s in Mattapoisett, or by check through the mail at “Tickets, Sippican Woman’s Club,
