On Thursday, Dec. 10 the Friends of the Mattapoisett Council on Aging will host the annual holiday luncheon. The party is free for Mattapoisett seniors. The luncheon takes place starting at noon in the Knights of Columbus Hall on Route 6.

There will be special holiday festivities, including music and door prizes. Rick LeBlanc will play the keyboard and Billy Couto will sing. Santa Claus and his helper, Ali Carreiro, will greet everyone and distribute prizes.

Free tickets can be picked up at the Mattapoisett Council on Aging’s Senior Center at the Center School, 17 Barstow St. Transportation to the party is available through the Senior Center by calling 508-758-4110.

Membership applications for the friends are available at the Senior Center or at the luncheon. It costs $10 to renew an annual membership for 2016.
