MATTAPOISETT — An artist will be giving a live demonstration of working on a pastel pet portrait Sunday, Oct. 27 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library.

During the demo, exhibitor Mj Manville Cloutier will answer any questions about her work and speak to patrons.

Manville Cloutier is currently on display at the library with an exhibit titled “SouthCoast Landmarks and Whimsy.”

The exhibit includes paintings Manville Cloutier created for the BayCoast Bank 2024 calendar, which are based on landmarks in all of the bank’s town branches.

The exhibit runs until Wednesday, Oct. 30.
