Anthi Frangiadis Associates in Marion is hosting 'Meet the Makers in the Drawing Room,' an opportunity to meet three artists who will also demonstrate their various methods of making art. The event is part of ArtWeek Boston.

The Drawing Room, located at 11 Spring Street, will be open on Friday, May 1 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Robert Abele, a New England landscape painter, will be available to discuss his plein air works – done in the tradition of Corot and Monet.

Sally McCarthy will also be there for a painting demonstration and to discuss her process for creating a memory in paint.

Students interested in pursuing a degree in architecture will have the opportunity to speak with Anthi Frangiadis, an architect and graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.
