Author Dawn Tripp will read from her two of her novels at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library on Wednesday, March 20th at 6:30 pm.  She will also be discussing writing local historical fiction, and answering questions from the audience. Everyone is invited to attend.

Winner of the Massachusetts Book Award, Dawn Tripp’s fiction has earned praise from critics for her “thrilling” storytelling (People Magazine), her “haunting, ethereal” prose (Booklist), and her “marvelous characters” (Orlando Sentinel). She is the author of the novels, Moon Tide, The Season of Open Water, and Game of Secrets, a Boston Globe bestseller. Her essays have appeared in The Rumpus, Psychology Today, and on NPR.

Tripp's books will be available for purchase and signing at the event. The library is located at 7 Barstow Street and is accessible to all.
