Martha's Vineyard author Susan Wilson will read from her new book "The Dog Who Danced" at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library on Wednesday, May 23 at 7 p.m.

Susan Wilson has been writing books for nearly 20 years. Her first published novel "Beauty," was made into a CBS Sunday Night movie in 1996.

She is the author of numerous novels including "One Good Dog" which appeared for several weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List. "The Dog Who Danced" is her seventh novel.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
