After a second win this season, Old Rochester Regional High School boys track coach Bill Tilden wants his team faster, better, and stronger.

“Hopefully we don’t have any weak spots,” Tilden said. “Our goal is to limit ourselves to one, or two, weak spots.”

The boys’ team beat Wareham on Monday at home, earning 103 points to its competitor’s 33 points.

The meet’s first race, the 400-meter hurdle, featured a sophomore Kevin Saccone and senior Alex Milde going stride-for-stride until the finish, easily beating a Wareham competitor.

The girls track team also won, defeating the visitors with a score of 82 to 45.

Wareham girls track coach Christopher Gardner acknowledged his opponent’s strengths before the meet began.

“Old Rochester Regional is really good, there’s no hiding that,” he said. “They’ve got the quality and the quantity.”
