Browse a book sale, build a bear at Elizabeth Taber Library

Dec 12, 2022

The Elizabeth Taber Library in Marion has a host of events coming up in the month of December.

Play, read and create at the library’s saturday storytime. The next storytime event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17.

On Thursday, Dec. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m., the library will hold a cookbook swap where participants can trade a gently used cookbook for one that is new to them. Light refreshments will be served and participants are encouraged to browse the library’s collection of used cookbooks which are for sale.

From Thursday, Dec. 15 to Saturday, Dec. 17, used books will be on sale at the library during normal hours. Find the perfect last-minute holiday gift; books, Elizabeth Taber Library t-shirts, puzzles, games and more. All sales benefit the library.

Build a furry friend on Friday, Dec. 30 with the library’s build a bear workshop. The event is limited to 15 participants. Call the library at 508-748-1252 to register. This workshop is not open to those who have
participated in previous build a bear workshops.

Finally, throughout the month of December, support the Marion Food Pantry by dropping off donations of shelf-stable food, pet supplies, or unopened hygiene and cleaning products to the Elizabeth Taber Library.
