A new all female scouting troop may soon be coming to the Tri-town.

Leadership from several area troops in Scouting America are working to put together a troop for girls ages 11 through 18, with the closest troop currently located in New Bedford.

Parents or guardians of any girls interested in joining the troop should contact Kevin Gretton at kevin.gretton@scouting.org.
