The sixth-grade class at Sippican School is starting the school year off with the Annual Car Wash and Bake Sale. The car wash/bake sale is Saturday, September 16 from 9 a.m.-noon in the school bus loop.

The price for a wash is $5 per car.

The event is a fundraiser for the sixth-grade class's "Mountain Classroom" trip to New Hampshire, which will take place in May.

The rain date for the event is Sunday, September 17.
