The Mattapoisett Board of Selectmen, in conjunction with the Mattapoisett School Committee and the Mattapoisett Historical Commission, will hold a rededication ceremony for Mattapoisett’s Center School 1898 Seth Thomas tower clock.

The rededication will take place at Center School on Saturday, December 8 at 2 p.m. in the Clock Room adjacent to the Old Auditorium/ New Music Room.

Please enter the school through the Barstow Street entrance for the Mattapoisett Council on Aging. There will be guides available at the Barstow street entrance to direct you to the Clock Room.

Those wishing to visit and tour the clock may go to the Clock Room from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 8.
