The first, second and third graders of Center School performed "A Bugz Christmas" on Wednesday afternoon. Family members and students from Old Hammondtown packed the gym full for the show.

In the musical a group of bugs encounter a Christmas catastrophe when termites eat through the Christmas tree and ruin the lights. However, a group of fireflies came to the rescue to provide lights so that the celebration could go on.

The bugs forgave the termites and invited them to stay for a holiday celebration. All the bugs joined together to sing the "12 Bugs of Christmas" and enjoy the peace and unity of the holiday season.
