You don't have to be a chess master to encourage the Mattapoisett Library's Chess Club members. A chess coach is needed on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Any high school student or adult who would like to help out need only have a good understanding of chess basics and an interest in encouraging beginners.
