There will be a special Thanksgiving Community Service at the old Christian Church (Mattapoisett Historical Society building) at 3 p.m. on Nov. 16. The combined choirs of Mattapoisett Congregational Church and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church will sing.

Rev. Amy Lignitz Harken will deliver a Thanksgiving message.

All are invited to join in giving thanks in this historic structure.

A special collection will be taken to support the work of the historical society.
