'Citizen Kane' to be shown in Marion Jan. 18

The Sippican Historical Society and the Marion Council on Aging will host another installment of “Classic Film Fridays” with “Citizen Kane” on January 18 at 7 p.m.

The classic movie examines the life and legacy of Charles Foster Kane, played by Orson Welles, a character reportedly based in part on a trio of tycoons: William Randolph Hearst, Samuel Insull, and Harold McCormick.

The movie will be shown at the Marion Music Hall, 164 Front Street. The event is free to the public. Refreshments are available.  For more information, contact the Historical Society at 508-748-1116.
