MARION — The Classic Film series sponsored by the Sippican Historical Society and the Marion Council on Aging continues with the showing of “The Exorcist” (1973) on Friday, Oct. 19, at the Marion Music Hall beginning at 7 p.m.

“The Exorcist” is one of the most highly acclaimed horror movies in history.

In the film, a young girl is possessed by a demon. Her family seeks the help of the Catholic Church and two priests perform the Rite of Exorcism.

Before the film is shown, music will be provided by Truman Terrell on the piano, Bob Sanderson on clarinet, and vocals by Michele Richardson.
