To the Editor:

I wish to thank Ariadne Daskalakis and Miri Yampolsky on behalf of the Friends of the Wareham Free Library for their wonderful presentation of Ludwig Van Beethoven’s 10 Sonatas for Violin and Piano at St. Gabriel’s Church in Marion and the Church of the Good Shepherd in Wareham.

I was fortunate in that I was able to attend both concerts and the gift of music these two very talented artists shared with us was incredible. Not only did they share their music, they gave the donations at both concerts to the Friends of the Wareham Free Library.

The donations came to just over $3,000 and will be used to purchase children’s books for the Wareham Free Library.

Ariadne Daskalakis will be back this summer with Music from Land’s End Wareham and I for one am looking forward to more wonderful music. Thank you ladies.
